Air Freight Export Operator\n\nBradford, West Yorkshire\n£32,000 per annum + company bonus\nImmediate start available\nBenefits: Company bonus scheme, pension, death in service cover\n\nAbout the Role\n\nA highly reputable international freight forwarder based in West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Air Freight Export Operator to join a busy freight forwarding team in Bradford. This is a full-cycle export role covering sales support/quoting, operational execution, customs clearance, documentation, and shipment delivery.\n\nThis is an immediate requirement for someone confident handling air export shipments end-to-end in a fast-paced environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Manage end-to-end air export shipments from booking through to final delivery\n\n * Provide freight quotations and support sales enquiries\n\n * Coordinate with airlines, agents, transport providers, and warehouse teams\n\n * Prepare and process export documentation including AWBs, invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations\n\n * Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and IATA guidelines\n\n * Book cargo space and monitor flight schedules to meet deadlines\n\n * Track shipments and provide regular customer updates\n\n * Resolve operational issues including delays, documentation queries, and customs matters\n\n * Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure smooth internal communication\n\n * Deliver excellent customer service throughout the export process\n\nRequirements\n\n * Proven experience in air freight export operations is essential\n\n * Strong knowledge of customs procedures and export documentation\n\n * Ability to manage time-critical shipments under pressure\n\n * Excellent communication and customer service skills\n\n * High attention to detail and strong organisational ability\n\nOpportunity to join a supportive and fast-paced freight environment
